Final Great Northern Conference Statistics
Although the Ashland Oredockers finished in the bottom half of the conference standings, several Oredockers were among the statistical leaders in the Great Northern Conference in 2021. The Oredockers finished tied for 5th in the conference with Lakeland and Merrill, all with records of 2 wins and 5 losses. Two of Ashland's losses were forfeits to Antigo and conference-champion Mosinee due to COVID-19 protocols. Although the Oredockers did beat Antigo 33-8 in a rescheduled game on October 21st, the win did not count in the conference standings but the statistics from that game did count.

As a team, the Oredockers finished as the 4th best offense and the number 6 defense in the conference. Offensively, Ashland averaged 328 yards per game, 173.7 rushing and 154.3 passing. Defensively, the Oredockers allowed opponents 310.5 yards per game, 203.7 on the ground and 106.8 through the air.
Several Oredocker players finished in the top 5 in individual statistics. Halfback Parker Goodreau was 3rd in the conference in both rushing and scoring. He rushed for 692 yards in 6 games, an average of 115.3 yards per game. Aiden Gardner of Medford led the conference with 1423 yards in 7 games and Cayden Neri of Rhinelander was second with 1383 yards, also in 7 games. Neri, Gardner and Goodreau were also the top 3 in scoring. Neri led the conference with 144 points - 19 touchdowns, 27 of 31 extra point kicks, and a 35-yard field goal against the Oredockers. Gardner had 14 touchdowns and 13 two-point conversions for 110 points. Goodreau scored 72 points on 12 touchdowns. He had 9 touchdowns rushing, 2 receiving, and a 73-yard interception return for a touchdown in the make-up game with Antigo. Ashland's Cody Lustig and Marques Kruzan finished 6th and 7th in scoring. Lustig scored 4 touchdowns, one two-point conversion, and was 14 of 16 on extra point kicks for 40 points. Kruzan had 6 touchdowns and one two-point conversion for 38 points.

The Oredockers' Kade Jolma was the number-two-rated quarterback in the GNC. He completed 47 of 100 passes for 889 yards, 11 touchdowns and just 3 interceptions, with a quarterback rating of 102.5. Mosinee's Trevor Garski was the conference's top quarterback with a rating of 126.6. He completed 73% of his passes - 104 of 142 for 1324 yards, 18 touchdowns and 3 interceptions. Marques Kruzan had the second highest average receiving yards per game with 79.3 and the second-most receiving touchdowns in the conference with 6. Mosinee's Keagan Jirschele led both categories with 97.2 yards per game and 7 TDs. Kruzan's total receiving yards of 476 was third. Jirschele and Hayward's Niizhoo Sullivan tied for the top spot with 486 yards. Cody Lustig was 5th both in receiving yards and average yards per game with 374 and 62.3, respectively.

Ashland's Ethan Peterson ranked second in the Great Northern Conference in kickoff returns. Peterson returned 9 kicks for 252 yards, an average of 28 yards per return, with one touchdown. Lakeland's Merick Trotter claimed the top spot in average return at 40 yards per return, but had only 2 kickoff returns all season. Peterson's 252 kickoff return yards topped the conference in that category.

Kruzan was tied with 3 other players for the conference lead in pass interceptions with 3. He returned those intercerptions for 77 yards, an average of 25.7. Lustig was tied with 3 others with 2 interceptions each. He also retuned his interceptions for 77 yards, with one of those going for a touchdown. Ashland's Parker Goodreau also returned his only interception for a touchdown, a 73 yard return against Antigo. Lustig was also the conference's 4th leading punter, averaging 34.7 yards on 11 kicks. Rhinelander's do-everything Neri was the GNC's top punter with an average of 40.9 yards per punt.
